Every other week, in this section of our site, there will appear a new Science Secret to be solved. It will be a relatively simple activity, which you can perform using things around the house or purchased at a supermarket or hardware store.

Be sure to read all the instructions before you start, so you'll know what to do and how to begin. If an activity doesn't work the way you had expected it to, repeat it, being careful to follow all the instructions exactly.

We'll advise you when to have an adult give you a hand, if an activity is particularly difficult or possibly dangerous.
