There were 636 reports in the How About... series. Working with science specialists at the Glencoe division of McGraw-Hill, we selected 293 reports in 7 categories of science.

Each of the 293 reports are 90 seconds, the length of a typical newcast item.

Each DVD set contains a booklet with a description of all 42 reports from each disc. Accompanying each booklet is a complete index to all reports, organized alphabetically, numerically and by subject title. These reports were originally syndicated nationally to hundreds of TV stations.
